The annual Sunscreen Film Festival presents works by local and national filmmakers, provides educational and informational programs for filmmakers and the general public, and provides opportunities for local filmmakers to network with their peers and industry professionals from around the globe.

The Sunscreen Film Festival is presented by The St. Petersburg/Clearwater Film Society, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. The Society is dedicated to educating the public about the art of visual storytelling, enhancing opportunities for local filmmakers to develop their craft and art, and increasing the public’s awareness and support of local filmmaking as a cultural and economic asset.
